- Payment records: amounts, dates and status. Bank details are held by GoCardless, not by us.
- Call records for your numbers: caller and called numbers, time, length and outcome, and voicemail recordings.
- The emergency address you give us for calls from your app or desk phone, which is shared with the emergency services if you call 999 or 112.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you signed up for (contract).
- To meet UK telecoms rules on number registration and emergency calls (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud and misuse of the network (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
Our telephone network partner (to register and route your numbers, including your verification details and emergency address), GoCardless (payments), and the providers that host our systems and send our emails. Data is stored in the UK and Europe. Some providers may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
Call records and voicemails: 180 days. Uploaded documents: deleted from our systems within 3 days of being sent for checking; our network partner keeps them as the regulator requires. Account and payment records: for as long as you have an account and then six years for tax and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Emailinfo@jbrownonline.com. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
People who call a SwitchBoardOne number: the business you called is responsible for how it uses your number and any message you leave. We process call details on its behalf.
